The film-set for Hobbiton on Peter Jackson's production of The Hobbit. Near Matamata, New Zealand. The film set has been made of durable materials and all but one of the trees is real. All the flowers and gardens are real. The attention to detail is truly remarkable and craftsman-like. The Green Dragon pub towards the end of the sequence of images is exquisitely beautiful, and fully functional, meal and drink wise! The tour to Hobbiton is a 'must see' attraction if you visit New Zealand.
