"Gaualofe" is a va'atele or traditional sailing double hulled canoe. The canoe is one of several craft built according to traditional Polynesian design specifications. As a member of the Samoa Voyaging Society (SVS), the craft and its crew engage the people of Samoa, especially youth, to contribute to sustainable development and the preservation of the Samoan marine and land environment.
