Robert Ronayne joined Cambridge High School in Form 3AC1 under the form teacher of Mrs Johnson. Many of his early classmates continued through his five years through to Form 7 in 1972. Like most of his classmates in that year, he studied English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

In that final year, Robert was also the form representative in the School Council, an innovation that had replaced the school prefect system. He also captained the First XI cricket team, and was recognised with the Hunt Cup for best all-round cricketer. These photos highlight some moments in that high school journey.
